         ACT Houston's alternative certification program is approved by the State Board for Educator Certification to provide certification for  teachers in the Greater Houston area. 
           ACT Houston is one of the state's largest alternative certification programs and provides the highest quality preparation for prospective teachers.

ACT Houston  offers certification for all grade levels and
all content areas.  Preparation Program Institutes are offered 4 times each year with no registration deadlines. 
ACT Houston has 3 campus locations (SW, SE, and North Houston).
